Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter Three – Search Engine Marketing Before you get started learning this lesson, make sure you have read my last two posts: Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter One – Introduction and Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter Two – Clickbank, they are the basic of this lesson.

Get ready? Welcome come to: Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter Three – Search Engine Marketing

As we already discussed Clickbank in Chapter 2 quite a bit. Today, I’ll share one good way to promote your affiliate revenue, that would be one strategy of Search Engine Marketing – PPC (pay per click). So What Exactly Is Search Engine Marketing? PPC is a very popular advertising model which used on search engines, advertising networks, content sites, forums, blogs etc.. Advertisers are only paying when someone actually clicks on their ads to visit the sites which URL point to. Advertisers bid on keywords which target on their market, when someone types a keyword quite matching the advertisers’ keyword list, or views a page with relevant content, the advertisers’ ads may be shown up. These ads may be called a "Sponsored link" or "sponsored ads", these ads would appear next to or above the "natural" or organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a site owner or blogger chooses on a content page.

Using PPC Ads to promote your affiliate programs

Yes, PPC marketing is a very good way to promote you affiliate programs. If you have used Google Adsense, you will understand Google Adwords more easily, and so does Yahoo PPC Ads. You earn from Adsense because there are some advertisers are investing on Adwords, Adwords is the opposite of Adsense. You could used it to drive high quality traffic to your affiliate programs. Remember one thing, you don’t have to build a site for it, you will only need to guide people directly to you affiliate products page, with your affiliate link hidden in it.

A typical sponsored ad on Google looks like this:

*make money at home
make money at home is that easy, check out this!

You may a little bit familiar with this type of search result or content site page. These ads are always on the very top and on the right side of search results, or someone else sites or blogs. If you want you could place your affiliate link here by charging PPC ads fee. When someone click on your ad and buy the product, you will make a percentage commission of the sale.  It is very powerful, because these are high quality target traffic, people click on it often because they are interested in it.

So How Do I Get Started?

Great Question! If you have already signed up for a Google Adwords PPC Account at adwords.google.com, then you could get started. Yahoo PPC is OK too.

Don’t worry about how, because they will teach you everything about how to spend your money on ads. Like title, description and URL. The point is you consider to choose the right keywords which target to your affiliate products.

When you get started, I recommend that you set up an ad campaign for several products in different niches, then wait and see which one works best, or promote them all. I think that I don’t have to teach you how to choose a niche, right? Just Google it.

In this lesson, I still don’t ask you to build a site or a blog. PPC ads will help you to promote your affiliate programs even better, and of course you will need a credit card first, as I said in Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter One – Introduction , you need to get prepared something for this mini course.

I hope I didn’t get you boring, If you are still very interested in this mini course, welcome to the next chapter: Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter Four – Resell Products.
