Why and How to Boost Word Of Mouth With Your Blog | Advertising,Word of Mouth, Internet Marketing Strategy,Advertising Method, Special Offer, Degree of Trust Well today, let’s discuss Why you should focus on your word of mouth advertising, and how to boost word of mouth with your blog. Because word of mouth advertising is quite useful in Internet marketing.

If you are a business man, you must know, one of the greatest reasons why people don’t want to buy your product is lack of trust. Your product may be very well, but if you don’t get trust of customers, they won’t buy it at all.

Word of mouth referral is just a good Internet Marketing Strategy to solve this problem, if you have done it properly, definitely it will raise the degree of trust better than other advertising methods. The more you get trust of customers, they easier your product will be sell.

So why not focus on word of mouth advertising? Why not make it easier for people to refer you? Well this is where your blog comes in!

Here are 5 ways to use your blog to boost your word of mouth advertising:

1. Tell all your word of mouth advertisers about your blog.

Often, a business will either put up their blog for the first time or make significant updates without telling anybody. People who can potentially refer your business may be aware of your blog. So when you put up a blog or make significant updates, let everyone know about it.

2. Get your blog on all your points of contact.

Doing this will help spread the word about your blog. In addition to putting your blog name on business cards, put it on the not-so-obvious places like your emails, voice mail greeting, and customer receipts, that would be great. The more people hear about your blog, the more they will share it when telling people about you.

3. Put your referral program on your blog.

Having a page on your blog that explains your referral programs will help others be more effective at sending leads your way. On the page, make it clear how to refer business to you and what kind of business you are looking for.

4. Put your special offers on blog.

Special offers are very good for getting readers to take action. They also could make referring people to you more easier. For example, instead of saying, "My friend John is a plumber, he can help you," a referrer could probably say, "My friend John is a plumber, go to his blog, and you could get 10% off!" After you put your offers on your blog, let the people who will refer you know about them.

5. Give free information on your blog.

Free information is always a great way to make referring people to your blog easily. It could be as easy as saying, "Oh, check out John’s site. There’s tons of great free advice there." Everyone wants to hear good free advice. Let everyone who may refer you business know about the free information on your blog.

Wouldn’t it be great if people who always say, "Hey, my friend John is a graphic designer, umm, I have his card somewhere." could now say, "Hey, my friend Ann is a graphic designer, visit his blog so you could get free design samples?"

In summary, try to use your blog to boost your word of mouth referrals. By doing this, you will attract prospects that have a more higher degree of trust, and you will have an easier time closing sales.

It infact helps to have Word of Mouth publicity sometimes, even more than Advertising. People remember you and your Blog rather than forgetting it after visiting it once.
