How to Attract Attention to Your Blog | Blogging Tips,Get Attention,Attract Attention,Get Traffic,Good Content, Marketing, Golden Partner The day before yesterday, I have read Alvin Phang’s an article How To Make Your Visitors Pay Attention To Your Blog,  and it inspired me a lot. I have considered how to attract attention for long time and decided to write an article on this topic. Because I found that most people lack of skills on how to attracting attention to their blog.

First, I’d like to say that get attention = get traffic. And blog itself is just a good tool and platform to attract attention. If you have read Blog And Ping – Two Smart Strategies Of Internet Marketing and 3 Reasons Why You Should Blog for your Business Boosting, you would know that.

In Alvin Phang’s article How To Make Your Visitors Pay Attention To Your Blog, he has mentioned two main important things of getting attention, that would be telling your readers:

  • What is your blog about?
  • How your blog will benefit them?

If you have done these two work very well. Congratulations, your blog would probably get attention easily. And it also means you will build your traffic streaming.

I guess that is what Alvin Phang thought. But I think that if you want to really attract attention to your blog, these are not good enough. I have considered how to attract attention, and I figured out that there are two very basic tactics for attracting attention, they sounds quite familiar: GOOD CONTENT and MARKETING. But why?

Let’s see:

1. GOOD CONTENT.

You believe or not. Content was the king of websites ten years ago, and now Content is still the KING of websites. The rule seems still has not changed in this field. So now I could clearly tell you that the first part of getting attention to your blog, which is a very age-old advice that you will have read many times: “Write good content”, so yep, good content is the foundation of a great blog. Without good content, what can you entertain your readers, and How can your blog benefit them?

For writing good content, I recommend you read these two articles, they will help to learn how:

2. MARKETING.

Do you know, many bloggers could really write high quality articles, but why there are only their mom are reading their blogs? That sounds too bad. Because most bloggers don’t know the importance of marketing or don’t know how to do marketing, that is the result of they neglect marketing. so that whatever how good content their blogs own, they still can’t attract attention, because nobody knows about them.

I think that every blogger would probably know Problogger, it is one of the most successful blog. But if Darren Rowse wasn’t a good marketer, I don’t think that Problogger would be so successful like today.

So as a professional blogger, you will need to have business skills. Yep, that’s it – marketing – the sexy art of attracting attention and THE key component of successful business and successful blogging. It’s through marketing that people find your good content.

GOOD CONTENT and MARKETING are two golden partners, their relationship is mutual influence and interdependence. If anyone of them is missed, you won’t succeed.
