I am being a blogger for nearly two years, but until recently, I started thinking about what exactly is blogging? What I am doing? I am confused.

If you say that writing is an art, then, I’ll say that blogging can also be an art too. Blogger are also artistic on their own sense, carefully picking words in order to describe their feelings, thoughts, wishes, desires etc. with well designed blog theme.

In order to understand what exactly is blogging, we’d better review the history of blogging. At the beginning, blogs were first used as weblogs that refer to a server log file. It was created when web logging hit the virtual market. Since it started in the mid of 1990s, web logging slowly saturated the virtual community making the Internet a viable source of huger information.

However, with web logging, you would still need a site and domain name, but with blogging, you will only need an account with a blog provider. Usually, these blog service are free of charge.

The first blog service provider would be Blogger.com, as now it still one of the most popular BSP in all over the world. People could build unlimited blogs just in one account, isn’t that cool?

With the beginning of blogging in the industry, personal journaling had been a common ground for people all over the world to know each others. Without going out, just stay at home they could make many friends through blogging. So blogging can be one way to make friends online.

Usually, blogging are for personal use. Like a journal, people could write anything about themselves, and anything about everything on their minds.

But, when blogging was used in Internet business, it had gradually taken the limelight in providing business a good chance to boost their business online. Business blogs are used to advertise their services or products in order to increase sales online.

Besides, business blogs are also one good way to promote a company in order to make people know it exists online. With blogs, entrepreneurs can establish a name in virtual market through articles that would be very helpful to people.

After reading and listening so many about blogging, now, I understand more about what exactly is blogging. It really can be an art, needs your extra hard working on it, it is not that simple, it means a lot a lot … Maybe you can understand what I thinking now, whatever …
