blogger-o-wordpress Where To Get Started Your First Blog Blogging is a great way to gain visibility for your website by adding keyword rich content, you could know that from you post, 3 Reasons Why You Should Blog for your Business Boosting.

There is no problems that blogging is a best way to get keyword rich content on your website. get your message on the search engines and drive traffic to your website. But where should your get started your first blog online?

When I first got started my first blog at a BSP (Blog Service Provider), but when I used it for a while, I found that it is not enough for me, so last year I hosted my blog on my web hosting, which is only $20 per year, as now it is good enough for my blog.

What I mean to say is that, when you consider starting a blog you have many options of hosting. You could get started your blog at Wordpress.com or Blogger.com, they are the most popular and successful BSP on the Internet. If you just new to blogging, I recommend that you use one of these BSP.

Here three reason why you could use free BSP to host your blog:

1. Free to use. These BSP are free and highly customizable tools that support both new and advanced bloggers. If you use Blogger.com, they will give you authority to create unlimited blogs which address like blog.BlogSpot.com. You could link to your website blog from your blog, search engines won’t give you credit for the extra content since it is from a different domain, but with creative cross linking, you also could benefit increased exposure from your blog.

2. Easy to use. One of the most notable benefits of these BSP is the ease of using, and some advanced functionality of the BSP compared to some blog software applications. Neither Blogger.com nor Wordpress require you to know any coding? No, they all allow you to build and post to your blog with easy to use icons similar to what one would see in a word processing program. With the ability to use a program like this allows people to create posts that are as high tech, and complete as full blown websites.

3. More Features. Another benefit of these BSP is their large widgets or elements and theme libraries that allow you to add useful features, and professional looking styles to your blog. A very simple drag and drop interface will allow you to add features such as RSS fee with a few clicks.

Self-Hosting. It would be a little bit hard and you have to charge for if you want to self-host your blog. Many hosting provides such as hostgator allow your to host your blog online with your domain name. The benefit is that the content of your blog becomes part of what search engines see for your domain. In the case you have to paid a monthly add-on fee about $5 or $10 to host your blog with they. When you get started use their hosting, they will offer you one free domain name, but I recommend you don’t use it, because when you don’t want to leave their hosting, they will charge you to the free domain name. Well, you will have full control of your self-host blog, it may be a big benefit to you.

Anyway, you could use free BSP, or paid hosting, it is up to you, whatever you choose, you could enjoy blogging fun, but if you want to succeed on blogging, I recommend that you choose self-host blog, because you have to control your blog fully.

I agree that Wordpress is a great place to start. If you can afford a simple hosting plan, it’s good to start building ranking on your own domain name. Eventually, should you become very successful, you can migrate to a dedicated server.
