When I first got started blogging, I have not idea what is ping, by now I understand more. By doing an experiment with pinging, it is also a good way to get your blog listed and ranked higher and quicker by search engines.

At the beginning, let me explain what ping really is. Ping is a technique that you could use to get your blog listed in search engines. If you have read my reason post 3 Reasons Why You Should Blog for your Business Boosting, you will know that search engines like blogs because of the ever updating posts, so they will keep coming back. Pinging is when you send a “ping”, to let search engines and directories to know that you have updated your blog, when they update their blogs. These will very closely watched by search engine spiders, so they could spider any new content and add it to search engine which controls them.

Following a week of publishing new posts, then ping search engines, let them know that you have already update your blog. By pinging search engines, it gets started sending visitors to my blog, without any marketing, Google had started send blog traffic, and my blog ranking it Google is not so bad .
