Before you read this post, make sure have read my last post Internet Cash Crash Mini Course: Chapter One – Introduction, because this is one part of a series course, which means you need to learn step by step, one by one.
Well, let’s just start today’s lesson: Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter Two – Clickbank.
SO what is Clickbank?
Clickbank is an affiliate marketplace of digital products, such as eBooks, software and membership sites. It is great of digital products that there is no need to ship the product and no limit on how many you could sell them. Every buyer will receive a copy via email after purchase, it is an automatically process. If you have one eBook want to sell, you may sell it millions of times! And don’t need to invest money in the product first or order more to restock, etc..
For affiliate marketers, what you only have to do is just drive people to the product page with your affiliate link in it and watch how many deal you can make. You even don’t need a site to do this, because the products already have their own site with a sales pitch and a credit card payment system. Every sale will be credited to your account and you are able to see how many sales and clicks live by logging in to your account in Clickbank. Clickbank is a very honest company, they send out check to their affiliates the 1st and 16th of every month, and they have not been late on a payment since they got started in 1998.
Of course, not only Clickbank does affiliate programs so well. There are Ebay, Amazon, Macys, Delta, and other sites I even have never heard of them. They are the same kind of sites, you could sign up as an affiliate with them for free, by a link often on the bottom of their sites called “affiliates” or “affiliate program”. Once you are their affiliate member, you could log in and get your affiliate links. Then you could get started making money from these affiliate programs in them. Put the link every where as you can, promote it, make sales with it. Everyone will end up at the same site but there is always an affiliate link hidden in the link, it is your affiliate link, when someone buy the product from your affiliate link, you will make a commission.
But why Clickbank? Well, the reason is you could get highest commissions from Clickbank. The average commission is 75% and the average product is $50! It means that you could make $37.50 on every sale. You don’t need to talk to the customers, or have a site, or ship the products or do anything else. What you only have to do is just drive people to the product site by clicking through your affiliate link, it is super easy to do so.
But, when you do affiliate marketing for Ebay, Amazon etc., you can’t do that so easily just like at Clickbank, And the commission may lower than Clickbank. For example, when you are at Ebay, you only make up to 75% of the revenue that Ebay makes, not the sale’s. and you have to direct someone to a specific Ebay product, that is a little bit harder than you do at Clickbank.
So, in my opinion, Clickbank is your best option at the beginning, high commission and very easy to do, you even don’t need to have a site, what you have to do is just drive traffic to the product site by clicking your affiliate link.
After you are familiar with affiliate marketing, you could try some other affiliate marketplace, such as Linkshare, and CJ. But now I don’t need to talk too much about them, Clickbank is the point. Now, Let’s directly go to the next chapter: Internet Cash Crash Mini Course Chapter Three – Search Engine Marketing.
