10 Simple Ways To Drive Traffic To Your Site

10 Simple Ways To Drive Traffic To Your Site As a blogger or a site owner, you really have to learn how to do blog marketing. Don’t just wait search engines send traffic to your blog by page being indexed. You have to active do something to for traffic building. I hope you don’t forget that I have said no traffic no money.

If you have no idea what to do, here are just 10 simple ways for you, these ways are very easy to do and really powerful to traffic generation, make sure you have considered using them:

1. Update regularly.

First of all, your blog must have something for your visitors to read, regularly updating is very helpful to traffic generation and readership building. I recommend that you update your blog every day, the more the better, but don’t post more than 10. Or your reader can’t read all of them.

2. Add keywords to every posts when posting.

The most top blogs like boingboing, they often have tens of thousands of visitors every day, how can they get so much traffic? Well, because they are following a secret of the blog: lots and short. Every post will target several keywords in it, these keywords will send a lot traffic to their site from search engines. If you want to do like them, make sure you update regularly and then add keywords to every posts.

3. Submit your blog to My Yahoo!

When you submit your blog RSS to My Yahoo, it also means your blog will be indexed by Yahoo.

4. Submit your blog to Google Reader.

It is the same way of item 3.

5. Submit your blog to search engines.

6. Submit your blog to directories as many as you can.

Directories such DMOZ will increase your search engines ranking. It is not so easy to be approved by DMOZ, make sure your blog good enough before you submit.

7. Submit your blog to RSS directories.

8. Ping your blog.

Every time when you post, send ping to ping sites, it will help search engines to index your pages.

9. Use trackback.

If there is a post on another blog is relevant to your subject, sent a trackback. Do it this way, it will increase your blog link popularity and may get the blogger noticed, then he or she may come to your blog through the trackback link, it is also a good way to improve your blog readership.

10. Comment on other blogs.

When you come to a blog, make sure it is relevant to your blog and then leave a comment on it, please don’t spam! Don’t just say “Hi, I like your blog” and then leave. When you leave this kind of comments, the blogger will think “who did this again?!”.
